Pessary Services
A Pessary is a device that is worn inside the vagina to provide structural support to the vaginal walls and is one of the non-surgical treatment options for women with prolapse. Pessaries are plastic or silicone and come in a variety of shapes and sizes to cater for women’s different needs and anatomy.

The Pessary Process:
Our pessary service is run by our Women’s Health Physiotherapists whom have undertaken or currently undertaking their University of South Australia Professional Certificate in Prolapse which consists of Pessary Management. This clinic is works closely with local Women’s Health GP’s & Gynaecologists to ensure appropriate referral pathways and standards are met.
